Valkyrie, also known as Brunnhilde, is a fictional superhero appearing in Marvel Comics. She is an Asgardian warrior and a member of the Valkyrior, a group of women who serve the ruler of Asgard, Odin. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Valkyrie is portrayed by Tessa Thompson and first appeared in Thor: Ragnarok. She later appeared in Avengers: Endgame and is set to have her own series on Disney+ called “Valkyrie: Sword of the Dead.”
Valkyrie is known for her bravery, strength, and fighting skills. She wields a magical sword and rides a winged horse named Aragorn. In addition to her physical prowess, she is also a skilled strategist and leader. In the comics, she has been a member of the Defenders, the Avengers, and the Fearless Defenders.
