Simba is the main character in Disney’s classic animated film, The Lion King. He is a young lion cub who is destined to become king of the Pride Lands after his father, Mufasa. However, Simba’s uncle Scar, who is jealous of Mufasa’s power, conspires to kill Mufasa and convinces Simba that he is responsible for his father’s death. Feeling guilty and ashamed, Simba runs away and grows up with two unlikely friends, Timon and Pumbaa. Through a series of events, Simba realizes his true destiny and returns to the Pride Lands to claim his rightful place as king.
